Our line cooks help set the tone for the kitchen. They are committed to the execution of a high quality, creative and efficiently delivered menu.
Responsibilities
You must share our passion for fine food and drink and be willing to work diligently to provide our customers with a high-quality, efficient dining experience. Duties include assisting in the preparation of main dishes and baked goods; chopping vegetables, salad making, dish washing, food storing and stocking, and cleaning. Includes on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Passionate about consistently delivering high quality food
- 1 – 2 years experience as a line cook
- Ability to work well within a team, with daily deadlines.
- Knowledge of food preparation and service standards, health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to read and adjust recipes with weights & measures, and menus
- Ability to accept feedback and guidance, and seek guidance when needed
- Good character, integrity, and adaptability
- Desire and ability to learn and do tasks as assigned
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-discipline
- Fluent in English
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-time; minimum 12 hours/week
