$26.99 NV Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc: Schramsberg is one of the oldest sparkling wine producers in Napa valley. Their style is to be aggressive and so their wines tend to be quite showy and big in the glass. The predominance of Carneros Chardonnay is evident in this cuvée’s forward pineapple and citrus flavors, and its rounded, smooth palate. $38.99 NV Chartogne Taillet Cuvee Sainte Anne: It is always great to find a small champagne grower that adheres to the classic champagne style w/ great delineation and sense of place in the glass. It is graceful yet with sinewy bubbles, exuding whole-grain bread, mineral, honey and citrus flavors.
